Hello! My name is Alex, owner and trainer at Halo Pet Academy. Over the last 9 years I have fostered dogs whom came to me untrained and animals of all sorts, from dog to cats to small furry and scaled friends! People and pets are my passion, to help answer all the questions and explain the psychology surrounding our animals. 

     My mission is to assist in reaching your goals and helping each pet parent become the best trainers for their four-legged friends! 

     Although my main practice is dog training, I have had my fair share of self education. Ever since I graduated high school I’ve been fascinated with photography and graphic design as well as dabbling in human and animal psychology to better understand the people and pets I have worked with over the years.

    I also had my personal dog that was both a therapy and service animal. Phineas, or Finn for short was rehomed from a family that rescued him from a shelter and he is a sweet as can be and very calm. Finn has brought out confidence in others that were otherwise insecure or fearful with slow socialization. With my amazing four-legged friend, I went hiking, biking and tagged them along on all our family adventures! We hope we can share our knowledge and experience to you in order to reach your goals with your four legged pals!
